American Life (revised)

Why is American life
Seemingly based on American strife
Judges, and politicians constantly cutting up freedoms with a sharp-edged knife
Cold-Blooded murders in plain sight
Mayhem not only at night but in broad daylight
Utter confusion in a nation that is filled with blight
Constant delusion stealing everything from civil to human rights
U.S. Government intrusion even the internet is causing me a fright
Maximum religious illusions
Environmental preclusions
America is in need of a coast to coast love transfusion,
Hate-filled white groups seemingly in open collusion
Is total destruction the only conclusion
The end result, American Society is in a state of hopeless confusion
American Life
American Strife
Judges, and politicians constantly cutting up freedoms with a sharp-edged knife
Now so many black peoples are sucked in today’s American life
Our black communities caught up in this massive strife
Is America ever going to change the black man’s plight
Or is this nation doomed forever to be stuck on white?

That Whistling Sound

That Whistling Sound

Our HOODIES are ON

Our BLACK HANDS are UP

BLACK MAN DOWN

Oh God, what was that awful whistling sound

Why is that Black man now LYING DEAD down ON THE GROUND

ALL THAT WAS HEARD WAS that whistling BULLET SOUND

Our HOODIES are on

Our BLACK HANDS are UP

Another BLACK MAN shot DOWN

You were supposed to protect and serve

Did that BLACKMAN now DEAD ON THE GROUND

Get what you thought he deserved

In America BLACK JUSTICE has taken a swerve

All these black bodies to shatter our nerves

Our HOODIES are on

Our BLACK HANDS UP

Black men die with their hands up or down

Whistling bullets at a white racist’s command

BLACKMAN LYING DEAD WITH his ebony face, faced DOWN

His Black mother with only the ground to pound

I guess that dead brother should have left this town at sundown

AMERICA WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

Black HANDS UP OR DOWN

Those HOODIES DOWN OR UP

WHEN racist POLICE SHOOT

ALL IS MOOT

Whistling bullets in a killing stream

All I can hear now is those black mother’s screams

You see that BLACK MAN IS STILL DOWN

ON THAT BLOOD SOAKED GROUND

Why after 400 years after the White Lion’s arrival

Is justice for black men yet to be found?

AMERICA WHEN WILL IT BE THE TIME WHEN INJUSTICE doesn’t kill BLACK MEN WITH HANDS UP AND HOODIES DOWN?

June 3, 1906 - Josephine Baker's 115th Birthday

Josephine Baker, celebrates her 115th birthday today. Her name, nor her contributions to global racial uplift should never be forgotten. Ms. Baker was born in St. Louis, Missouri and during the nadir period of Black American, Josephine was just another black baby whose life was etched out for future despair, until it wasn't. Josephine Baker had musical talent, and incomparable beauty. The thing is that Josephine Baker was not the head scratching yes sir black woman White America could stand nor accept. So, Ms. Baker moved from her homeland to her newly adopted home of France and built a remarkable entertainment career. In addition to her skills as an entertainer. Josephine Baker was also a warrior who fought against the enemies of a just and humane society. She was war hero in World War ll who fought with the French Resistance against the oppressive Nazi war machine. Josephine Baker was simply a great human being who saw to it that the most needy of us received care and understanding. Ms. Baker adopted orphans and gave those orphans the life they deserved. America's shame, America's loss was the global community's gain. On August 28, 1963, dressed in the uniform of the adopted nation, Josephine Baker became the only voice of black womanhood to give a significant speech at the Jobs and Freedom Rally which became known for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s I Have Dream heroic, historic speech. Well, Josephine Baker spoke to the world's young people that day. Here is my reading of that speech.

Can You Answer This Question? Are You On Point Historically?

"As we move pass the Greenwood District of Tulsa, Oklahoma and war and remembrances of that truly horrific historic event. There is another Greenwood that really should be celebrated and the energy of those who attended it reincarnated. So that we can truly move towards the goal that was the essence of historic day for Black Americans. I am not going to tell you the exact details today. That will come later I will tell this it scared the hell out of most white people in this nation at the time. It caused our federal, state and municipal law enforcement agencies to declare war on black communities in this nation. It also caused the conservative wing of Black America much angst and tribulation. It created a movement that covered all the shores of this nation. I am asking this question today, what was the event who who was the chief agitator? "

Weekly Massacres Done By Us On Us

My final post about the Tulsa Race Massacre tells a difference story one that must be recognized and comprehended. The institution of white supremacy understood that white mobs creating mayhem, terror and murder on established black communities in the United States was a strategy that couldn’t continue. So those in power decided to make the massacre a weekly event by flooding our black communities with illicit drugs and guns. This new strategy of self destruction resulted in a weekly murder rate across this nation that exceeded the numbers killed in Colfax, Elaine, Tulsa, East St. Louis, Chicago, and Atlanta white mobs acts of terror. We must understand that the current murders going on weekly in our black communities is a deliberate strategy established by the white supremacy institutions of racial hatred. It is meant to satisfy their lust to oppress us.
