Fannie Lou Hamer Stood On Ida Wells-Barnett’s Shoulders

These four sayings from Fannie Lou Hamer were made in the 1960's however they are just as pertinent in 2020 as they were in the 1960's. Today I reflect on these 4 quotes and reflect on the continued power of Fannie Lou Hamer. As I celebrate the 103rd Birthday Celebration of Fannie Lou Hamer who stood on the shoulders of another powerful African American woman from Mississippi, Ida Belle Wells-Barnett.
