This Uncle Tom drove the enslaved to freedom time and again
The Uncle Tom I learned about even built his own Blackman’s kingdom
He named his town Dawn because he sought a new age
The Uncle Tom I learned about fought oppression with inner rage
The Uncle Tom I learned was feted by a Prime Minister and Kings
