Real Truths

Our formerly enslaved ancestors after the passage of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments called the Civil War Amendments those of whom who could actually read those amendments thought that they could have a legitimate opportunity to work within the system to build a life for themselves and their families. However, the reality was that the chances of our formerly enslaved ancestors to make a go of it in this nation was slim to none. The powers of white supremacy controlled their economic and civil fate and without giving any resources to build or guide our formerly enslaved ancestors to independence the fate to the majority of our ancestors was to fall backwards into a state of perpetual oppressive slavery again.
