Viney Baker: North Carolina Slave Narratives: The Federal Writer's Project

I continue my journey as The Blackman Who Reads Aloud through The Federal Writer's Project. Today, I read the recollections of a 78-year-old former enslaved Blackman who as a child had his enslaved mother stole from him while he slept beside her all for the price dollars sold like cattle and treated like feral cats and dogs. Please join us this coming Sunday as we discuss "Reparations Towards Repatriation" with an International group of brothers and sisters dedicated to the cause of gaining what is rightfully ours to demand and have now, Reparations Now! Dammit!
