Continuing my journey through the 1936-1938 Federal Writer's Project reading the experiences of our ancestors who were held in slavery. We must never forget, nor forgive those who promoted the institution of slavery and Jim Crow bondage. Until we as a black communities gain our demands for equitable recompense in the form of reparations this debt is forever unpaid and due.
