Who’s In Our Corner?

“How come we cannot get 50 Democratic Senators to vote for and pass the Emmitt Till
Anti- Lynching Bill? I understand the Republicans in the Senate not voting for the measure because they aren’t our friends but the Democratic Party is supposed to be obligated to promoting and anchoring our causes, aren’t they? I believe that 50 of them joined and passed the Asian Anti Hate bill. With 50 votes plus Harris’s vote the Emmitt Till Bill would pass 51-50 right?
