"It seemingly took only a matter of weeks for the United States Senate to pass an Anti-Hate Asian Bill today. While it took nearly a century for the United States Senate to get close to passing an Anti-Lynching that would protect African Americans from incidents of explicit hate and violence. Emmitt Till has been dead for 65 years and the bill named in his honor still sits in the Senate seeking approval.
