Tragedy At Colfax Black America's Bloodied End To Freedom

On April 13, 1873, freedom died for the recently freed African Americans of the south. On this date 148 years ago Black Reconstruction experienced it deadly, murderous end in the town of Colfax situated in Grant Parish, Louisiana.
