Black History Month 2021
Every February, the posters and bulletin board icons of the homogenized black history are pulled out of the closet for White Americans and even Black Americans to have feel good experience about the Black American experience. Well, this is not the site for that feel good experience. Because my salute goes to those of our ancestors who gave the ultimate sacrifice unwillingly, and unjustly. Each day this month it is my plan along with Bryan Stevenson's recapturing of real history to detail the murder and terror faced by our black ancestors from the period when we were supposedly freed up until the 1960's. Join me on that journey as I travel Black History Month 2021 on The Blackman's Read Aloud Project.
