The New First Son

Someone currently on the national political scene helped create a 1994 Crime Bill that trumpeted outrageous criminal penalties for procession of crack cocaine. These prison sentences harmed the African American communities across this nation in substantially high numbers. Yet, while our brothers and sisters were being incarcerated this political leader’s son’s crimes were being ignored by law enforcement agencies across the country. I am not telling nor suggesting that anyone should support the other political party’s candidate because that would be foolish. What I am saying why this situation was totally ignored by our so-called political leaders? Also, why didn’t we disrupt his nomination or least get a real demand from his political party for comprehensive economic support?
