The Black Blogger Reads Aloud May 31, 1955 "ALL DELIBERATE SPEED"

The late Dr. Derrick Bell, Silent Covenants, Brown v Board Of Education & The Unfulfilled Hopes Of Racial Reform, Dr. Bell writes and provides a mini-lesson on the Brown II decision that took the steam out of the historic May 17, 1954 Supreme Court ruling with these three words, all deliberate speed, 63 years ago today, May 17, 1955. The fact that the court reversed course in 1955 tells just how pervasive bigotry and supremacy was embedded in our nation. Still today all deliberate speed is the course of gaining justice in this blighted judicial system of America. Judge Bell understood this while many black Americans still have their eyes closed to this injustice.
